Upcoming events for 2005:

• Thanks to those who joined us on Saturday, October 8, at Brighton Town Park. We had an interesting discussion with Bill Sanders from the ACLU, who discussed his FOIA request and attempts at getting some information about Monroe County's office of Faith Based Initiatives.

Monthly meetings:

• SHoRA meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month. Usually dinner and discussion at a local restaurant.
• Some of us have been attending the local Atheist Meetups. They are at 7 PM on the third Wednesday of every month at the Old Toad on Alexander Street. Join them for some English beer and food and conversation.

Prior events and lectures have included:

• Benjamin Radford, the managing editor of Skeptical Inquirer and author of the book Media Mythmakers.
• Secular Humanism and Civil Rights by Norm R. Allen, Jr.
